hey everybody!
On behalf of the Western Region MFIC's of Scikotics, I am proud to announce an ALL Scion owners car show & Charity event (proceeds to be donated to MDA. www.mda.org)

Rooms will be $50/night with a 2-night minimum. Room rate is up to quadruple occupancy. Rooms are 1-king with a sofa sleeper OR 2-doubles/queens. Suites are available for $70/night with a 2-night minimum. If you are interested in an "early check-in", please specify that when booking your reservation. Here's what we have so far:
Friday check-in at the hotel, pre-registration for car show, a pre-party/meet & greet in the upstairs ballroom, and a glow/lighting contest.

On Saturday, there will be a lunch buffet available (either inside the restaurant or "to go") for $7.50/person, car show registration, the car show, a BBQ dinner during the show for $5.50/person, and activities to include a slot tournament and a poker walk, 50/50 and regular raffles, and possibly a silent auction.

The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday morning, and breakfast buffet will be available (prices pending). Check-out has been extended to 1pm. There is a secluded swimming pool on the property, so bring your swim suit!

Vehicles will be entered in Sane (street), Twisted (mild) & Sciko (wild) classes for the following categories:

Best 1st gen xB
Best 2nd gen xB
Best tC
Best xD
Best xA


special awards will consist of the following:

Best of Show
Best Audio/Visual
Best Theme
Best Glow
Best Female Ride
Peoples' Choice
Sponsor's Choice
Dealership's Choice
Venue's Choice
Road-Kill Award (longest drive)
Club Participation Award

this would be fun if we could get a bunch together. I used to drive there regularly cause my sis lived there. It's a long day's drive, but now that I'm older, would be best to do it in 2 days. I'm gonna seriously consider this.

yeah... 2 days would be no stress and wouldnt require a day of recoup when arriving.. we'll see how this pans out with time off, and fundage etc... also have to see if pool league/tournement in vegas is around same time... will be tough call...

we could drive to Medford Ore, I think thats about 8 hours, then get up and do the last 5 hours the next day, cruise in all refreshed. But like with KK, fundage is key for me to do it.

not sure how the wives would like that, but I'd be down. I wish my sis still lived there, i could stay there for free. It would be cool to rent a big cabin or even a house like they do with Boxed in the Smokies.

If Zoe wasnt due on August 18 I would totally be down for this. I've done the Reno drive in 11 hours leaving at 9:pm and getting to work at 8:30 the next morning!!!! Good luck to all who attend!

YES!!!! Wife love's to do "ROAD TRIP'S"... Have'nt said anything but I recently dislocated two virtibrate and fractured my back in two spots and now waiting on L/I to ok the big surgery {FUSE, YOU KNOW, STEEL, NUTS AND BOLTS, BONE GRAFT, ect.ect.ect.} BUT if at all possible YES!!!!
