Picked up a new car...

doy!
god that car is a _____ to work on but its at its last stages. even with the modified springs and being slammed to the ground the camber is minor. so i dont know what this person is talking about. (the camber is actually better than my dropped tc)
in anycase i dont see what _____ing about the difference between the trueno and levin is going to do since really its a matter of preference and if he wanted one over the other he would have got the other one instead.
its almost to the state of being mechanically finished just needs timing and than the carb tuned. other than that its a runner. looks way better with the sport maxes installed correctly. lol the kid we towed it from made um..... a mess of it. so not only did we have to roll the fenders but flare them slightly. (tastefully of course.)
and than repair the horrid damage done to the stock bumper when such said ex owner decided it would be rad to make a cheesy body kit out of zipties and rubber home depo siding. rolfl
his car is almost ready for the road. so well see what we can do to get it finished.
its already much much nicer than it was to begin with, due to the work we have done.
things our club has done to the car
repaired and manufactured new clutch cabling/lines.
major rewiring of the front end electrical, and realignment of the headlight clusters,
body panel repair/manufacturing.
front clip repair.
clutch and gas pedal repair,
gas/throttle cable manufacture.
suspension: spring, strut, and wheel repairs.
re bleeding the brake lines.
body modifications to accommodate oversize wheels,
had to reset multiple body panels.
repair spring setup due to difference in height.
repaired ground wiring.
re manufactured stock bumper trimming.
we stripped out massive parts from another ae86 shell. (woot!)
repaired the power steering rack,
multiple carb repairs..
massive amounts of loose hardware, including carb leaks, exhaust leaks and the like.
things needed.
seat brackets.
strip out interior
tune carb
timing
new exhaust
proper springs, bushings, and struts.
body repairs.
things wanted
you name it... lol
thanks to kanchi's advice i lent clockwerk my old set of springs i forgot i had.
anyways it will be good to see it done.
