Hi evette, I am also glad you didn’t get hurt too bad. Make sure you go to a doctor and get checked out and maybe get some muscle relaxers and/or pain meds. The pain usually kicks in a few days later. Keep on top of it and if it gets worse you can file a claim for your injuries as well. I was rear ended a few years back and had minor pain in my shoulder a few weeks after it happened. I tried to be tough and just take the pain. It is best to get it treated and keep all the documentation. I kinda miss the Physical Therapy it was relaxing.

Do you have rental coverage? You should be able to get a car for 30 days once you put your car in the shop. Burien Toyota has a body shop that’s not too bad and you can get a Scion as a rental. If you use their shop they will discount the rental charges. I used them a few months ago to get my Xb fixed up after my sister-in-law got rear ended.

Hope all works out for the best.
