on the -email it says,

Car show participants must arrive earlier (8:30-10AM)

Non car show particpants:...

We suggest arrivals beginning at Noon. Lunch will be served at 1:00PM. The Formula Drift event will run until approximately 8PM, however you may depart at any time.

What time does everyone that isn't showing plan on arriving?!

EVERYONE TAKING 405 PLEASE BE AWARE OF FULL FREEWAY CLOSURE North & Southbound Saturday 2am to Sunday 11am!!!!!!

http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/News/2010/07...405closure.htm

I'm currently looking for an alternative route, can anyone please recommend a route coming up from Oregon I5 Northbound as well as leaving Monroe, WA since it'll be closed after Formula D?!

I made a separate thread, please voice any recommondations!

You can always come I-5 to Everett , then take the Hewitt ave trestle exit, staying to the right on the trestle, and you will be on highway 2 all the way to the fairgrounds.

dodaddy - take I 5 that is your only option. Take that to HWY 2 East (exit is up in everett) and that will take you right to the race track (what redbeard said)

I will be arriving around 11 i am thinking - i hope they will let us in at that time if we are not showing.

For those of us coming up from the Oregon or south of Renton....
Looks like the closure is only between SR 167 and Maple Valley Highway (SR 169). I mapped out a detour and if the exits are open for 167 & 169, you should be able to hop off @ 167, head over to S Grady Way/900, and then rejoin I-405 @ SR 169.
If you're early enough, it might add 10min to the commute.
Looks like I-90 would be another option...

Hoping to meet up early with everyone at that rest stop just past Vancouver. I'm a bit more excited than my wife and would like to leave early.
Also, I'm borrowing my Pop's GPS. Have to leave my kids as collateral....so I might keep it.

Everyone meeting at the rest stop. I'm going to get to the track by heading up to Everett than hopping on to HWY 2 east. This drive might be a little longer so I'll be at the rest stop by 4:30am-5:00am. I want to get a good spot at the show so arriving in Monroe around 830-9am would be best.
