Default Snow Chains?

Heading to Mt. Bachelor tomorrow to do some boarding.
I was wondering where I can get snow chains for the stock tires on the tC?
Les Schwab wanted to charge $400 for spider chains and they are not sure if a regular tire chain would work....at least the lady that I talked to didn't know
Get them at GI Joes maybe? Anyone know? Maybe save me the run around

Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't standard chains work? They might not have had the right size in stock though...

Check out

Type in your wheel/tire size, and it will show you the cable chains that work with your car. They are designed to work with limited clearance too. We have SCC Shur-Grip Z able chains for our lowered Integra and they work great.

IIRC they are around $80/set.
