I've lived in this neck of the woods for most of my life, and I'm still amazed at what difference just a few miles can make in our weather.

Other folks here don't really live that far away, but THIS is the snow we got here, at it's worst:



That's Vanilla, sitting out there in the cold under her carport, as seen from the kitchen window. The temp was about 21F, but here on our hill above University Place, we got hardly any snow.

Seems as though each hill and valley has it's own weather pattern.

Boise has snow!~ Not sure if that is excitement or a suprise. Was not exactly expecting snow but looks like the whole northwest got it!

I got to ride that on monday and tuesday. It was sick. So much powder. Only thing that sucked was all the expert only runs were avalanche equipped peoples with parthners only, and I don't have a transponder so I only snuck a few runs up it.
