Got the Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers on tonight.......honestly I am amazed they fit great,look great,and only cost me $10......and thats the best part.....

does anyone know how big the gas door is on a MR2.......trying to find a CF lid for my car and the MR2 looks like it is close.

if you can buy the cf and resin . and can live without your gas door for about a month i can make you one...total replacement part.

got mirror covers on ebay for $10....best part is they retail for much more......not sure why really as they are not a hard part to make....

 

Also yesturday I decided to start sanding the lips on the rims down......got one of them like90% there....one like 40% there and the other two have not gotten to....lol......it is time consuming to sand lips.

 

The Notorious PINK LINE coming from a leaking water pump... Happened on the wife's '09 at 22,000+, now on my '08 at 38,000+... drop it off at 9:15, get a loaner and pick it up right around 3 hours later. I have read about this being a problem and sure enough both my HOTROD'S had the leaky weep hole... WARRANTY

 

i have a dyno date set for next month at carb conn! i cant wait

 

this is something i think is super wierd... is that the tc water pumps fail they dont usually leak.

this really looks like someone at the factory isn't installing the xb2 ones incorrectly by either improper torque or not setting the gaskets right...

Oooh, exciting!

 

The xB2 has a "WEAP" hole that for some reason starts leaking... I don't know, but have read about it on some Forum to watch for this "PINK" stripe on the hood, up where the belts would spit it while spinning. The "PINK" is because the color of our coolant..

 

I peed pink once......but that is another story....lol......there seems to be a rash of water pumps over the years......kinda worrisome to be honest,it is a pain to get at to change out.
