Visiting Seattle in April... Good Eats?
Looks like the closest Dick's Drive In is on Broadway near the morris resevoir. Google maps says the walk is 1.1 miles. Is it a tough climb? Any raunchy areas? Maybe we should take the bus there and walk it off. RT 43 gets me there?
Here's a list of place's that I'm considering based on your recommendations and from Chowhound:

Oh the melting pot. Sorry, i work in the restaurant industry, and am just very picky when it comes to food. Not willing to spend $70/person to (over)cook/burn my own food (or myself).
Seafood in downtown... Chandler's Crab House, Salty's on Alki, Ray's Boat House, Waterfront Grill, and Seastar (Seattle) are all great places. Seastar just opened their downtown location this last tuesday, so many people havn't been there, or know that it's there yet. Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere (shorts and collared shirt friendly), and 30 bottles of wine under $30. And you can ride the S.L.U.T. to it! Gotta ride the S.L.U.T. while your here, and get the t-shirt.

We're trying to decide between Salty's, Palisade, or somewhere else for Sunday brunch. Yelp reviews favor Palisade seem more favorable, but I've been misled by Yelp before.
There's melting pots down in the bay area as well so we'll skip the fondue.
Do you have an address for Seastar's new location? Not yet listed on their website.

We're gonna be there Fri-Mon so I don't know if we'll make it to Salumi before they close on Friday, but I heard they sell some of the salami @ Metro Market. Can anyone confirm that?
