WA Turbo Rebuild Shop?
Hey my turbo has a little problem.... after taking it out and setting it on the shelf, the turbo that was once spinning freely with no shaft play, to the point where its hardly spinning... I know theres a place up in Washington but I'm not sure where. Anyone have an idea?
Alamo Turbo in Kent WA was where I went for my turbonetics rebuild. Nice guys and willing to chat for a while. Give 'em a call and see what they say.

Most likely there is some surface rust. Try hitting the wheel with some WD40 and then gently rock it back/forth. If that doesn't work try oiling the CHRA as if it were actually being oiled in the car and see if it spins then. Don't force it as you might cause damage, but a gentle spin and some small pressure should be fine.
