Exclamation Aftermarket Radio Shopping for 2007 Tc

Just got a 2007 Tc and it came with a broken stock navigation system, but was replaced with a smaller radio that doesnt fit the given space, which I dont like... :? Im looking to buy one that fits the opening, but I know nothing about what kind to buy so that I can use the USB port and steering wheel controls in my car. Help? Any reccommended? & under $300 preferably? Thank you!

Usually any after market radio will fit, where they get you is on installation. I just did the install on my own.

If I bought a stereo used, Would the adapter from the car it was in work in my Scion? In other words, are the adapters universal or will I have to purchase one specifically for my car? Thanks, by the way

if the used stereo you are looking into is from another scion and they sell it to you already wired up with the correct harness from that scion then yes it will be a plug and play, but if the stereo is from any other brand car then you might need to buy the correct harness from any stereo shop or online no more then $10 and then butt plug all the wires and you are good to go

Metra 70-1761 is the wiring harness to hook up an aftermarket stereo on a SCION
search online prices start @ $5 and up

PAC's SWI-PS this the steering wheel control interface u will need if installing a aftermarket head unit
online prices from $35 and up

The best thing is to try to do the installation yourself, to keep your cost down as well
