Ya, Fox had a video of them crushing the blue Civic on the bottom. I thought that they had been talking about this for a long time... but I guess they just finally started crushing stuff.

After watching the video, I guess they used to part them out and make some money... but now they're just trying to discourage any racing like that at all... so what better scare tactic to crush some cars, right?

That blue civic hatch actually looked really nice, it even pains me to see them crush the cars.

Looks to me though that the civic hatches are stronger than the other cars as they werent crushed down as much compared to the acura integra up top and the grey/silver car in the middle.

I kinda agree with it. Street racing is stupid.

Leave it on the track. Your risking the lives of the people in the cars with you, as long as the 100's of others driving.

Ill race in a disclosed area (old airport/strip) but not in the middle of a highway

Wow... that was kinda painful to watch... at least part out those wheels... I can't imagine they would stick around in the junkyard those cars are going to.

It's better to destroy just one car than to work an accident where that car and the cars of innocent people were damaged.

Do they make the owners watch the crushing? I can't watch the vid...

They don't make them, but some of the owners came down to see it.

Yea, street racing is idiotic and there should be consequences for recklessness, but I don't know how I feel about this.

Oh, I'd rather see them as DARE cars or sold to other PD's for undercover use, but, if this will teach a lesson....

Personally, keep the cars, crush the owners.

if your still making payments and they crush your car, you'd still have to make payments on your car that got crushed

I think it is great! So many people say "I've raced and no issues ever" or "Only in desolate areas" or "Been doing it for years without incident". Send a message to all the idiots that race on public roads. Break the law by racing and your car is getting crushed.

That being said... some kid's parent will probably hire a lawyer that will make the case that their client was unfairly targeted for "excessive speeding" and this is illegal prosecution. Or something.

Me... big thumbs up to making cars into cubes! :D

wow a massive waste of resources. crushing cars. those cars could be sold to raise money for good causes. or as undercover police street racing sting operations. but just crushing them as a scare tactic? waste of precious resources destroying cars.

i mean, i'm all for seizing the car from the boneheads, but really now, just destroying them is a huge waste of resources.
