here are more pics but just to make this clear they don't just crush any car, they have to get an order from the judge. the only way a judge will approve this is if the police can proof that the vin had been removed, part of the car could had been stolen. the are heavy modify with illegal parts. etc. It' was on the LA times.

so the car gets crushed cuzz of a stolen engine or part??i belive its wrong to crush the car's why not just put the dumb@$$ in jail and be someone's bi%^7 .....in cali your always a street racer just cuzz ya have a honda or a muffler on your car wich is bs..cali is so errr to car stuff it just pains me ...and now im happy im in the mid west were i can do anything i want .......

i say that the cars should be donated to automotive schools and classes where they would be converted back to regular passenger vehicles and sold or donated to low income families in need of basic transportation, for sold and the money go to the state, or charity or something.

The cars that were crushed were not only because they were caught racing, but because they were caught racing and were found to have stolen parts on them, mainly motors.
I think that crushing them is STUPID, but it teaches the owners and alot of other racers a lesson.
also, how are you to donate a car like this? they would have to pull off all of the stolen parts on the car, and that would basically just leave a shell haha.. who wants that?
