Default HIGH BEAM FLASHING victims

does any ony else with stock headlights get random people flashing them with their high beams at night?

my neighbors all ways tell me my brights are on,
till i turn on my high beams and then they freak out when i tell them my headlights are stock!

is it just me or does any one else have this problem of HB flashers?

ive only gotten to flash back a few times.
the HB flashers wait till the last possible second (the chicken chit punx) by the time they do its to late to retaliate!, so i cant HB flash back

its really annoying, blinding, very rude and can cause a accident-if i had my lights off or had a light out i would understand!

but dam near every night at least once or more this happens! are the stock headlights that bright? no way!

the HID guys must really hate life!

There have been several posts on this subject. I had the problem more when the car was newer--maybe the brightness fades with time. Comments also have been that if you are lowered with a stiffer ride you might bounce a little more having people think you are flashing your lights.

The stock xB headlights are some of the highest and brightest stock halogen headlights I've ever had on any car.

I love it! But sometimes other people think they're high-beams.

At least it's not as bad as my girl's Honda Fit. The headlights point straight down and barely light up the road. People on the Fit forums all had the same same problem.

I'd rather have 'em too bright than too dim.

i was gonna start chasin people down and (in a Robert Dinero voice) did you just flash me? .......why did you just flash me?

anyway if i could find a spot to realine my headlights i would.
but do after market lights have this problem?

this is just B.S. but still a pain brite is great but blinding sux!

brite whites, high intensity blues why is it that the stocks get picked on when they are so much briter?

the thread kinda helps with some things but nothing more than realine em yourself or just suffer

the tC lights are fine.

however the xB, i hate driving in front of one of those because they look like the highs are on, good for you, but not for anyone in front of you, or opposing you.

it looks like it, because when the light is turned on, its not one single glow.. it looks like two.

The Stock xB lights are some of the brightest ive ever seen on a stock vehicle. I'm running halogen projectors now and they seem half the strengh and brightness. I even remember saying the first time i drove at nigh"Damm those are some Bright lights!"
I think Daves right about the bouncing too.....

Last week, I was driving with my stock lights on stock headlights and the road I was on was pretty bumpy..........the person in front of me stepped on the brakes and did the "what" hand signal.........he thought I was high-beaming him.

Would Silverstars cause more hi-beaming drivers? I know they are just whiter, though just a little, just a little, brighter.

i've never been flashed once.. and i've heard of tC drivers complaining about this too. they say they get HB flashed a lot. I;m running HIDs and STILL have not been HB flashed til this day.. and i agree with BOB. xB's headlights do look like 2 different glows
