HEY EVERYONE GOT A WILD HAIR UP MY ___ AND WANTED TO DO A MEET TONIGHT. I WAS THINKING AT STARBUCKS ON VENTURA AND TOPANGA CYN. ANYONE DOWN

 

Doubt many people live in our neck of the woods. =/

 

Its a thought. Just to hang out and chill and Release out some stress if anyone has any. i just miss doing the old Krispy Kreme meets on Topanga cyn that was fun.

 

WTF?! How come I never knew about those!? That's less than 10 mins from my house.

I think we should start a meet on Vanowen & Fallbrook near the Panda Express, Trader Joes, Kyoto Sushi, etc. That side of the lot is ALWAYS empty at night, & there's so many places to eat (Chili's Stonefire, Starbucks, Jamba, Panda, Hometown Buffet, etc...). I wanted to start that meet with a fellow team member at the time, Horace, & as soon as we started seriously planning it, he had a heart attack & passed away. It was really sad.

I wonder if the parking lot security would mind, but I've wanted to start a meet there for a LONG time but never knew with who since nobody lives in my area.

Yeah that Krispy Kreme meet was like 3 years ago and then they told us they were building a In & Out there so we had to stop going. I set up a lil meet there before and it was a good turnout, but that was a while ago. And because Ventura and Topanga is so busy lots of action. But im down for whatever i just want to hang out tonight with a bunch of fellow scion peeps.

 

We have a meet every friday night at toyota central in downtonw if you want to make the drive. Its cop friendly....lol just an idea

 

no eddie they live like 1hr away i would never want them to drive that far.... but good thought... thread jacker! lol well good luck on your meet.

Dude setup up some meet nights in the valley I live in covina but I'm always looking for an excuse to go out there I use to visit my friend in canoga park all the time til he got shipped out to iraq

 

ya set it up and we for sure can ride once or twice.

 

Phil why don't you come out to our meet "Team Sciontific" since we know you and you know us. As for meets in the valley that is a big NO, reason why is because wednesday night meets in Nrothridge are now burned and they all take off to go street racing in canoga Park down to Woodland Hills after. Thrusdays porter ranch meets got rated really bad that no one goes there anyone. Its gotten difficult to drive at night here in the valley because the cops think people are out looking for races.

 

Its been like that since I was 16. Northridge and sylmar is well known for their racing meets dude i remember when my brother was in cyber and he used to take me along it was crazy fun. Man I miss chillin in the valley. It sucks that we get stereotyped as racers when the scion crowd is not your typical import crowd I just wish they'd realize that and let us be.

 

That was a long time ago.

I KNOW ITS HARD TO DO MEETS IN THE VALLEY CAUSE OF ALL THE COPS AND PEOPLE SETTING UP STREET RACES.
