Good point about the Tein rebuild, does anyone know if H&R offers a similar service?

@2fast, between this thread and my other (I'm semi cross posting now ) I think I may be leaning in favor of the H&Rs because it seems they be great for everything I need and they also cost quite a bit less than the Tein's (unless basics are in the running, this I dont know.) That said, is there somewhere locally that I could pickup H&R or do those need to be ordered? If so, if you could recommend me a place (I was looking at allsprings.com) that would be much appreciated.

Also, where do you guys meet on fridays? Maybe I'll swing by and check it out?

Thanks again to everyone for all the info.
I don't know if H&R offers a rebuild service, they are very helpful, so it's worth calling them to find out. And I don't know anyone locally that has them in stock because they're mostly a special order item and everyone typically has them drop shipped out of their USA headquarters in Washington state; I got mine through allsprings.com and that's how they sent them. This is a good thing because you don't have to pay tax (about $75) which will cost you more than shipping.

I'm sure you've read my other reply by now (I'm sorry for cross posting ), but for anyone else interested, Team ScionTific meets every Friday at 7 p.m. on Nordoff and Woodley in the old Vons parking lot. Hopefully we'll see you there.

i e-mailed them and they said there not open to the public! WTF?

i hate e-stores they screw you on returns and id like to see and hold what im getting to make shure its right the first time! .
there is hundreds of stores like that around here
i went to 20 of them and they didnt know what to do!

i go in an they were like dude buy online! WTF ive been screwed over that way many times( im stuck with defective parts hell no! ) plus why pay for shipping when im right there! the batards! a dollar in gas or 6 dollars in shipping, do the math!

even if someone offers me free shipping its not worth it if its a wrong or broken part! i still have to go and waste time getting ignored at the place anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and why should i pay a restocking fee for there mistake?

screw e-stores!

I've been following this thread and it's interesting to see my own interests reflected in it because I had originally been considering the Tein Springs with EDFC compatibility but was quickly convinced (and none to nicely at that) that they where serious overkill. And now I'm looking at the H&R set-ups and I have a question. I'm torn between the Sport Springs set-up and the Touring Cup kit. Most of my driving is freeway (ie. High speeds, banked curves, and so on) and ride comfort isn't that huge of an issue to me though I would like to be able to feel my legs when I'm done. What's the big difference between the two kits? Aside from the drop?

Sport Springs are just that: springs. The Touring Cup Kit includes the same Sport springs with H&R shocks/struts. If you get the Sport Cup Kit, it includes the Race springs and H&R shocks/struts.
