Just in case some of you driving around Mira Mesa weren't aware of it yet, thought I should let you know. Location is New Salem street, between Camino Ruiz and Mira Mesa Blvd. It's where the red star is on this map.
About a block from Camino Ruiz, on the north side of the street across from where the park starts, you'll frequently find a motorcycle cop hiding in the apartment building's driveway with his radar gun pointed either direction. The limit is 25, and the cop has his bike hidden, he simply walks out into the street to stop any speeders he catches.
Got me last September on a weekday at 10:15am, doing 40, safe & sane but 15 over the limit. I noticed he's been there a lot lately, and don't want you guys getting popped, so watch out if you're in the area!

Also if you're coming home to MM and take Carrol Canyon to Black Mountain at the bottom of the hill is usually 2 motorcycle cops hanging out. Watch out because 1 it's a hill and 2 they're hang right behind the line of cars.

Thanks guys, good info, I'll have to watch out for those locations too.
I don't get too upset when it's a "fair fight" and I get a ticket, but these sneaky biscuits must want everyone to get a detector.
I suppose real crime must now be non-existent in MM, since they're spending all our tax dollars on generating more revenue by using all those resources to trap speeders.
