Also make sure you can see the parents as well to see their personalities and any possible health problems.

Personally, screw getting a pure bred dog and adopt one from the shelter. Best thing to do ever You actually get more love and loyalty from an adopted pet than a bought pet, at least in my experience (1 pure bred dog out of ~8 adopted pets).
we have gone to a local dog shelter. most of the dogs there were already old, or really aggressive...

my daughters age is not a factor on buying this pet or not. Yes indeed i am 20yrs old. obviously if its for "my daughter" i would not expect her to take on all the responsibilitys of this animal. its the family's dog. i just figured it would be a nice present to add onto the other stuff i would be getting her for her b-day. like i said her b-day is a couple days after christmas, so i figured it could be like double present for her as well as a present to the family.

last time i checked i didnt ask no ones OPINIONS on if its a dumb idea to get a dog or stuff like that. i just asked if anyone knew someone selling one. so please keep replies relavent to the subject.

thanks for ur concern on my "DUMB" idea though....

Go for it Andrew, if you really want it for your daughter and know that she will be happy then get it knowing the responsiblities you'll have on side. remember that when they are small they tend to chew on anything like the doors, funiture, etc....

I got a pomeranian back in August and he's been great since, but between me and my girlfriend someone is Always around him to give him attention, and doesn't get left alone for more than a couple hrs by himself a few times each week
the "INITIAL" price was never a object, all i stated was if anyone had a connection on where i can get a bulldog. as i said " i know they cost a pretty penny" so obviously the money situation is not a issue. but hey if u can save some of those penny's why not??

and like i said i know the kinda responsibility it takes to have a dog. me and my girlfriend owned a yorkie that had been stolen from us. i know what u mean saying the dog is always around, as we even took him to car meets as well..
EIBACH MEET 2006

he was even wearing his i <3 JDM t-shirt

we do miss him so much....so like i said we do know what the responsibility is like and to never leave them alone.

yeah thanks Cat....its just everyone one was stating things that werent even relavent to the subject posted, i know there concerns, but im not dumb enough not to reasearch before making the descision. i was just wondering if anyone knew anyone selling one.

but thanks cat for backing me up on my descision.

You might be able to get some good information about what to look for in breeders there.
