Default Please help me find some springs

Yea, I looking for lowering springs, but its not for me. I have a friend at my school who owns a 04 xB and he wants the same springs that I have, cuz they lower my box damn low.

I'm looking for new Tein S-techs. I bought mines for $150, so if anyone knows where I can buy some locally, like OC or Pomona. Let me know.

I might convince him to buy aftermarket shocks or maybe get him to buy coilovers cuz he has a ton of miles, I think 60K. Let me know guys. Oh, I also need some 05 xB hubcaps. Its those 9 spoke hubs.

I'm going to ask my friend 2morrow if he would rather go for tein basic's cuz he has too much miles on his shocks and they might not last with the lowering. Besides, u might as well spend a little more for a whole set, not....

buy springs for 150-160
buy 4 stocks for ????-250 a set, I don't know
OR
Buy basics for 750 or less.

houseofscion is over priced, bro. I got my springs for $150. 185 with houseofscion. That is overpriced to me. Do they price match or something. I'm trying to save my friend some hard earn bucks.

I mean, the site is good, its just the prices. Where is Island motorsports or tunerzimage or something. Hit me up with your best prices. I'm not window shopping for my friend. He is serious.

How long have u been in the business? I don't want my friend to get his springs installed and down the road, he gets in an accident due to unprofessional installation. I'm not doubting you, I just want to know, that is all.

teabox,
our mechanic, Steve, has been working on cars for 15 years. He has worked on more than 20 xAs, xBs and tCs since we've become a sponsor. So I don't think you have to worry about his skill. Thanks for the reply and please feel free to call the shop if you have any question.

Thanks.

Cool. So far, u are buying me. I'll let u know next week if u got a sell. My friend really, really wants springs, but not sure if 30k miles on his stock shocks would make it with the lowering. What u think? Tuesday, I'll let u know for sure. I'll send him over there to buy and get it installed. Most likely I'll escort him there.

teabox,
Thanks for the reply. The life span of shocks really depends on how the driver drive the car. Normally they should be good for ~50k miles. However, I've seen defective shocks on an Acura when it's got only 25K. Anyway, if your friend has decided what spring to go with, please give me a call so I can get the springs ready before you come in.

Thanks again

Thanks teabox. Let your friend know that the capability of off roading will be reduced after the drop, lol
