To tell you the truth the Scion Evolution family has been the best group of people. And you dont even have to fix up your car. Just buy raffle tickets. LOL! Ive been in the import game for 10+ yrs. Also, you want hook ups? its there for the taking! Also ever since I joint in July last year, I made so many new friends. Stretching from Las Vegas, Hawaii, Nor Cal, Central Coast, San Diego, etc...... If you can make to our meet, we'll see you there.

im a new member and have gone to some cool shows met some fun people
its all about net working and talking scion
discounts? where?shwag? i suppose you have to have money or be really good at b.s.ing
but like every club theirs a inner circle if your not in it too bad for you.
volunteering is encouraged
i have seen some cool things and gotten help where others failed, ive made some one off parts for me and got good advice on how to's or tips
other than that its like every other car club talking and planning the next meet or event and problems

a problem i have is chapter meetings are far for me, gas is $3+ a gallon and traffic sucks. and finding the meeting place if its not posted

but like every thing theirs a inner circle
its up to you

in reading the previous posts their all higher profile members (recruting)
once i joined i never heard much again except for people with things to sell me,
or when i asked questions about installs i did get help but not much else
id love to tell more but all you have to do is ask
ive only been a member for a few months hopfuly things will improve or maybe im a little intimidating or just not a joiner!
think for your self do what you whant
have fun i still am!!!

^^ to be honest. i was recruiting even before i was an official member. i went to meets. i met the first SE member in chicago. why did i recruit before i was an official member? because it made sense. I still recruit but i dont recruit in that way. i refer people and if they decide its cool if not then no problem. its not about the numbers or discounts, its about the family and having fun. i can say that i seen such great hospitality with my fellow SE members and non - se members. but joining the club gives me something to represent at a car show.

yeii.

yu don't have to join to hang out and have fun ....
this could be done at any meeting of the crews mentioned...
just look for the one that bests suits you....
location wise ..people wise.... thay are all different... you'll see once you start to go to these meets!!

There are formal shows and there are meets. The meets are more chillin. Tonight there was an unaffiliated meet at the West Covina Toyota dealer. The dealer supplied piazza. There was about 30 cars there. We looked at people's new mods--saw some new cars etc. No pressure--no formalities. Everyone welcome........Watch the regional forum for other meets........

ah vanity
recruting or not all facts should be available i tell people to join to so chill out people but most ask about discounts and hook ups are main reasons for joining any thing

ive been going to car shows since i was five years old nothings changed

i have fun at the events no mater what cool cars are cool cars some people are too serious about clubs and it ruins it
i like SE's rules loud music burnouts are not good at all

Just remember Respect is Earned NOT Given!

Change of location for this week.

http://www.scionevolution.org/forum/...pic.php?t=7217

I am sure we will have someone at Cool Station directing people where to go.
