Families are great if you’re celebrated member but the darker side is home I feel like a Goth kid
And don’t get the silly games it just seems lame and self serving but i agree with the values of SE and the family aspect!

I joined SE in Feb and could'nt be Happier. Everyone's very cool and Really helpful. I've made alot of new friends and really enjoy the Family atmosphere.
The more your involved the more you get out of it, thats true with all clubs though.
If your not gonna be involved than why join a Club?

yup yup, i might be going to this.....but 42 miles is faaaaaaaaaaaar.

Regarding joining the club & dmxb's comments

It will always seem like people are trying to sell you things if you're not involved and actually show up to events. When I joined back in October, I felt pretty much in the same boat at dmxb. It mostly seemed like something where you can buy a bunch of stuff at a discounted price and what not.

But as time went on and the more networking you do, you find ALOT of good resources and just friends in general. For example, I now know of 2 or 3 people that will help out with a spring install for free, I randomly live 2 doors away from another member now, there are 2 people off the top of my head that are deep in the club scene, 2 dj's, I've met MMW reps, Bbist, MotorFX, precisionmuffler, etc. etc. etc.

It's all about being involved. There's more to Scion that forums....it's the people behind the wheel that make clubs like SE great.

i agree with you guys but getting together is my biggest problem
at events im taking pictures when i can go
but just meeting people is hard and no one realy approaches me i dont know why
but when i ask questions i get rude or dumb answers or just get passed on to someone else. im not kicking the system or clubs or people(i know it sounds that way)
But im tired of getting kicked or excluded for not being able to attend ive asked questions and have gotten no replies on some topics because of my comments here
its so high school im over it already i shouldent have thought aloud

I know how you feel. When I first got involved in this, with my friend (erikb), we didnt know anyone either. I have friends now from most of the clubs in so cal. I really dont know why someone with the same car would be snug you off. that to me is dumb. I give props to people that are bone stock.

Thats a good statement right there, especially about meeting the people behind the products! Scion evolution has brought me closer to my hobby then any other club that I have been apart of. Join Scion Evolution and evolve

yes i agree it is about the family, u dont hurt ur family either, u clubs becareful who u bring in, cuz there are some drivers that can give u a bad name, they can give u a bad name by illegal street racing, speeding, make sure they wanna make the family look like a good family, and dont bring problems so just dont think about picking up a new member who want to join, make sure ur getting something that wants to be part of the family
