Suns in 5 Games!!
What I feared the most was exactly what happened. This hurts.
I left my buddies house with 3-4 minutes left in the game, I couldn't take it anymore. It was disgusting to watch. Nice job suns. Gotta take all the positives from this rather than the negative. Our guys got some playoff experience under our belt and a nice step to maturing as players and as a team. Afterall, we were a #7 seed going against a #2 seed. Gah! I almost don't wanna watch the playoffs anymore. It was fun guys.

My hat is SO off to the Lakers. If they can grow a little help for next year they'll be a contender in the west.
I don't know what was wrong with Kobe's thinking in the second half. He couldn't have made a difference in THAT game but, the fact that he wasn't trying. WOW.
I saw a story on his line in the box score on ESPN.COM.
Saturday's Worst
Lakers guard Kobe Bryant: His teammates didn't help, especially shrinking violets Kwame Brown and Lamar Odom. But this award goes to Bryant because he's set our expectations so high. After a great first half, the Mamba disappeared into Plan 8 from Outer Space in the second half, taking only three shots and scoring one point to match the one assist he had in the game. For the game, his last in the No. 8 jersey, he put up an octagon full of Crazy 8s: eight FGs made, eight missed and eight 3s attempted, to finish with 24 -- his uniform number next season.

where did all the Lakers fan go? or did they just jump on the band wagon when they where up 3-1. It's like a ghost town now. I think it's time for a new thread! It was a great series. hopefully the next will be just as good!
Still here. Just nothing to discuss. We lost a good series. To bad we didn't make the last game a little bit more exciting. I guess they really wanted to go on the cruise for the 399 special to the bahamas! It ends this week. LOL

Agreed ^^^
Kobe's gone as far as Kobe will go. Innocent or not, the rape thing will always be over him. As the values of the Nike customer change, so will Kobe's worth to them. Especially with LJ and others on the horizon.
Anyway... time for a new thread.

they weren't complaining after game one when thomas fouled kobe towards the end of the game when he was going for a layup. that would have brought them to within 2 or 3 points. it was definitely a game-deciding non-call as well. in one of the AP articles that came out the next day, they quote him admitting to the foul, saying he got away with one. but you don't see laker fans still crying about it.
