diaw is not a guard. he's supposed to be marion's relief. kurt thomas supposed to be center. bryan grant supposed to be amare relief but everything didnt come out as planned. it was supposed to be nash-point guard bell-shooting guard marion-shooting foward amare- power foward and thomas-centrer. but i agree with you on one thing. if the suns had amare we would be champs!
Boris Diaw is a guard, hes just a big gaurd like kobe or magic.

yes, Odom and Brown are the two players the Lakers need to step up in order to have a chance to play against the Suns...and yes, they were playing good ball the last four games,..but the last four games??...where were they the first 78?

oh yeah, last year critics said the run-and-gun style of the Suns won't last through the playoffs...end result - Western Conference finals :D

i've been a laker fan since magic came from msu, but i don't even watch them anymore. they aren't the lakers. i have completely lost interest and refuse to watch til kobe is gone. i cannot stand that guy. talent alone does not garner a following. he is a cancer to the franchise.

I agree.

One thing I like about the Suns organization.... be a problem and you get a ticket out.

I think the Lakers took their best shot on Sunday. I don't think Wednesday's game will be close but, if it is, we might be seeing an upset. Still... I'm thinking the Suns blow them out.

Suns in 5. (If they go up 3-0 then it's a sweep!)

ditto...as Jim Rome said, he doesn't see Kobe playing into the Zen Master's plan of playing a Kwame-Odom centric basketball...he see's Kobe being typical Kobe on Wednesday

I'm optimistic and think the lakers can pull this thing out...all they gotta do is win one at Phoenix to put pressure on the suns.

That would put some pressure on the Suns.

Just don't see it happening with a Kobe-led Lakers team.

yeah, i just don't see the LA Kobes pulling the upset...the Lakers will continue to put pressure on the Suns, but as long as Nash is running the show, the Suns will prevail :D

nobody even like the clippers till now when they got a decent team. now people are all like go clips. steve nash is **** eyed like tmac that's why he plays good point cause he can see 2 directions at once haha. can't get nothing done with kobe? man kobe barely did nothing in game one and the game was still close. this aint even about suns vs. lakers thread anymore...its a kobe hater thread now.

I completely agree with you. The clippers were the rejects of LA and now when the team is so-so and record wise a little better than the lakers, everyone in cali jumps on the bandwagon. Kobe did play pretty horrible in game 1 but he'll bounce back in game 2 with the supporting cast and tie the series. At least I hope. I will always be a lakers fan. Never jumping on the garbage clippers bandwagon.

dude I aint even a Clipper band wagon jumper. not like angel, laker and now duck fans are back. Ive had season tickets since 98 and been a fan since Loy Vaught, Benoit Benjamin, Danny Manning and Charles Smith. Who are they? Exactly no knows but real Clipper fans. About the Lakers, If they get through it coo. They proved everyone wrong. And if the Clipps play the Suns, that would be good game. both run and gun teams.

well, today's game two...so we'll see if the Zen Master's strategy of "feeling the game out" on Game 1 worked...

..on a side note: Steve Nash will be named MVP for the 2nd year in a row!!
