did you have that whole burning smell problem? have the dealership fix that first just in case its something else, plus i won't be able to do this till at least Jan cause i'm headed back to the east coast for Christmas and my brother's coming out here next week too, so yeah i'd try to get it to the dealership, make an appointment, it shouldn't take them more than an hour or two to change that HVAC comp out, i take my in and out to get to the stereo all the time

I am definitely interested in this! I've been wanting to get the LEDs on the gauges and the HVAC changed to blue for quite a while now. Can we set something up. I'm serious about getting this done.

Just wanted to keep everyone updated, i am still trying to work out how i am gonna get all the leds and other parts as well as when to do it. I work Tuesday-Saturday, so i am only available Sundays and Mondays, and being winter i am up at Bear on of those days every weekend, so...

if you would like to have a swap done, for $50 each for Guages or HVAC($100 for both) please PM me with what colors so i can figure out how many and what color LEDs i will need to get. Even if you have already PMd me please PM me again b/c i may have deleted previous messages after i replyed to you.

Also please note that i am trying to figure out how to CMA or cover my butt on this thing so if anyone knows of a lawyer or whatever i would nee to get a simple disclaimer made up saying that if modded i am not responsible for any "toyota warrantee" violations. i will try to helop you out if there are any problems for like 6 months or something...getting back to the point , if you can help me out or know someone who can i will hook you up with a big discount like close to free(maybe even free)

well now that you stated about now getting into problems afterwards if something where to go wrong then the people who don't feel comfortable with you working on their car know now and should try looking elsewhere to save you and them the problems. i still want mine done so i'll send you a new pm later on, but lets us all know when you'll be ready for this.

I don't think there is anyone out there that will give you a lifetime replacement or any other kind of guarantee. if so i would go with them...that said this isn't a simple bulb swap like lots of other cars, Toyota used some pretty small LEDs, tiny if you talk about the HU, so there is always the chance something could happen, no matter who is doing the work. But thanks for pointing that out for people...If you're not comfortable with breaking your vehicles warranty then this mod isn't for you.
