Hi, all! My name is Shannon and I'm from the East Coast (Poconos, PA, about an hour and a half from NYC) but my best friend and I might be moving to SoCal in the near future. I was wondering if you could tell me about the Murrieta area (we're looking at Oceanside and San Clemente as well), like how far it is from the coast, what is the town of Murrieta like (shopping, traffic, living conditions, etc) is it a nice place to live, how busy is it, how laid back? You know, anything you can tell me about the area would be much appreciated. We've both been to San Clemente, San Diego and up the coast almost to LA, but we're going into this pretty much blind to what the area is really like as far as living there, so any info would be a big help to us. Thanks so much! :D

umm basicly all of oceanside and san clemente is all on the coast. the beaches are beautiful and chill compared to other socal beaches. murrieta and temec however are more in towards the hills/desert portion of socal. it was a growing city(dont get me wrong...its pretty big anyways) but due to the recent economic "crisis" im not sure if its the same....but it just all depends on the area you move into ya know?
