you cant take it to a ref station now anyway, since they are temporarily shut down due to CA's budget deficit.

i think you just need to take it to a smog check place now, although im not 100% sure.

Its like that over here in NC too. But not for tha same reason. They have mass police checkpoints over here in the backroads.

I feel terrible for all my friends that are indocumentados and have to hide from the authorities... even scared to go out.

"oh mah gah

that's complete BS. dude ... you should never have let them search your car in the first place >_<. only if they have probable cause ... and "racing" decals don't cut it. you could just be a fan of companies, that's all. exhaust could have come on the car from the dealer, who knows. you weren't speeding, you weren't doing anything illegal. heck, the cop got this completely wrong and gave you an illegitimate ticket in this case."

technically in oregon at least anything not in a locked container aka glove box, and trunk is premise open to the public so he doesnt need probable cause to look in your car. although keep in mind since it is your property just refuse rite to look threw the car. aka dont open the hood or anything for him.

some cops are asses but im in a family of cops and the most i know are good people. yet we never here about the good ones. oh and talk with the judge if you dont get it dropped if it is your first cite in a while the judge might drop it to the smallest fine

sorry to here about your poor experience, even more im sorry to hear about the officer i wonder how he sleeps at night. speeding is one thing, that was just sadly legal abuse

I dont know those decals support me pretty heavily. I proudly support the following:

Vitamin Water- Best drink ever created!
XXR Wheels- Best affordable wheels made and easily found
F5 Fujita- Best intake ever made!

how you like that for advertisement.

my ticket is a pain in the A so far.

-my mechanic charged 35 to swap my exhaust for stock when back about a couple months he charged me 20 to swap the entire exhaust
-I have to go to the sheriff to have them check the exhaust which i completely forgot to do
-then go back to court. again.
