Yeah Scott, trip to Springfield was about 6 hours. I just left for S3 after work around 6pm and rolled in to downtown about midnightish. Time enough for a soda or two...

Jon, sorry to hear you won't have any company! Plenty of family here for you though and I do appreciate the support! BTW, the wife was very appreciative of the Asylum date this year. We should have a very good time.

I might have to look into camping sometime this summer at a couple of different shows. Anybody doing a run to the desert this year again? Aside from the snakes, scorpions, and golf ***** it would be a decent camping trip...

Damn, now I'm jacking my own thread!

I was thinking of hitting up Roswell if they have it again... but I'm not sure how the budget is going to work out for the summer. I have several shows on the calendar, and with recent cash layout for mods, I'm not sure what's going to be left.

I honestly wouldn't be going be going if it wasn't for the family aspect. This is one of only two shows this year I plan on going to (the other being Asylum) just because everyone is so cool.

^^Oddly enough as soon as that was posted the threat level in Ames was raised to "rainbow"...

J/K brother! It's going to be awesome to have you guys back one more time for the gathering. If only we could get Rob to bring the yurt...

No, but it would go one hell of a long way to earning you the most coveted SPITE award!

Yeah, but pretty much everybody has a LONG way to go to catch up with Levi...

Seriously, the man has lake pipes and a hood scoop amongst other things on an xB. If that doesn't say FTW in the biggest way, I don't know what does!

^word.

I've emailed with Levi recently and he did sound like he was coming to the show. He's been to a couple here in Iowa and I know he has a great time doing all kinds of different shows so...

/\

yeah, I got nothing . . . ;)

how about a threadjack?!

Lump sat alone in a boggy marsh,
totally emotionless except for her heart
Mud flowed up into lump's pajamas
she totally confused all the passing pihranas

She's lump, she's lump
She's in my head
She's lump, she's lump, she's lump
She might be dead

Lump lingered last in line for brains
and the one she got was sorta rotten and insane
Small things so sad that birds could land
Is lump fast asleep or rockin' out with the band?

She's lump, she's lump
She's in my head
She's lump, she's lump, she's lump
She might be dead

Lump was limp and lonely and needed a shove
Lump slipped on a kiss and tumbled into love
She spent her twenties between the sheets
Life limped along at sub-sonic speeds

She's lump, she's lump
She's in my head
She's lump, she's lump, she's lump
She might be dead

Is this lump outta my head?
I think so
Is this lump outta my head?
I think so
Is this lump outta my head?
I think so
Is this lump outta my head?
