im looking at 17x9 inch wheels and im wanting to put 225-40-17 tires will they fit ?i know whey will be streched a little .there was a guy from california at s3 and he had 17s not shure how wide but they looked good!

 

Nitto NT555 225-40-17 are approved for 7.5"-9" rim widths. That's just the quickest one I could find.

 

well, for the tC our rim is 17x7, with a tire of 215-45-17..(i think its 45) so your uping it by 2inches but your only adding 10mm of rubber, I'd try to find some wider tires, like say, tuck 235s

 

What are you going to do with your current wheels?

 

i sold them scott to a gut with a 92 corolla it looks good!
