I am moving to Laramie and was trying to find some good fishing spots. Any one know of any good spots ? and what are the most common game fish ?

Best thing to do is contact the DOW in Wyoming and/or Northern Colorado regions. They have updates on all the current fishing conditions, and what to fish for in the area.

Depends on how you fish really... Like baitfishing, river fishing, fly fishing.. Most common game fish here are Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout(Mackinaw)
There is a bunch of lakes and ponds here as well with bass, crappie and such..

the other thing you could do is talk to your local walmart hunting and fishing department. The could point you in the right direction as well.

All are very good ideas. I dont know how much driving you want to do, but there are tons of great lakes and streams down in north park. (Walden) There is also plenty if fishing right around Laramie too.

I have fished for trout but never wild trout, ( stocked ponds ) I am into bait fishing and river fishing but I plan to learn to fly fish as thats what every one tells me really works over there. Any cat fish ? were about do you live ? how far from laramie ?

now if someone could tell me where the hell has a friday night fishfry I'd be happy....haven't found one since we moved here 2 1/2 years ago.....
