dealer attempt void warranty anyone?
my throw-out bearing is rattling, I'm wondering which dealership will give me the least hassle over voiding warranty because of none-oem parts.
Has anyone else went in for their throw-out bearing replacement under warranty with none-oem suspension/engine parts? They would of course blame the Tein coilovers riding at the lowest level with some bs reasons.
Which stealership should I try first? of course my last resort is to put back stock suspension but I'm too tired for that.

they have to prove that your modifications are the reason for the failure of your throw-out bearings. i'm not sure what part of your car you are actually referring to. but say i have put on a new exhaust, and my power windows stop working, did my exhaust cause my windows to stop working? no. so they have to prove that some modification you did broke a part of your car that is warrantied to tell you no it is not covered.
I'm talking about the throw-out bearing that pushes the diaphragm spring to disengage the clutch plate. I know it's sort of unrelated to riding at out of spec ride height, but they might throw in "it puts more stress on the transmission" or any other bs. I can argue with the service manager all I want, but he will throw just as much bs back at me.
That is correct:

The Moss-Magnuson Warranty Act guarantees your rights. If the aftermarket parts did not provably cause the problem, they should have no affect on the problem being warranty.
