My strut bar is off for one more week and I'm running out of time before it goes back on. Is there anywhere in the area to get it done and how much are we looking at?

dude.. if its just a strut bar, just spray paint it. Sand it down first. A lot of people have done it on their stock rims. It turns out very nice. I dont think it will be cheap if you want to powdercoat it because they have to strip the paint first, use the color you want etc. Not worthed.

Its not cheap at all depending where you go cost is prolly going to be in the 50-150 dollar range. A lot depends on the color and finish

 

I'm hearing stuff about set up fee's and stuff too. Has anyone had it done?

Welllllll that's not entirely true we do powder costing (as well as other retread shops) but we have limited colors and no bead blaster to take it to bare metal.

Black would be my second choice. I just think black would hide the bar where yellow would make it stand out. I didn't think I had a choice in finish? I just thought it would be flat.

 

You can get all colors,metal flake, metalic, transparent or solid, flat, gloss and even krinkle finish.

 

How much do you think it would it be for a gloss yellow?

 

spoke to mike at denver bumper, he can powdercoat. he quoted me 25/ea for springs and rear sway bar, including sandblasting. lots of colors to choose from.

I'm not sure I can answer that directly, but I can tell you powder cost me 500ish for a 55lb box. A place called woodie's wheel works wants 140bux to cost a wheel
