I know I've heard Coy's (is that the name? Where is it at?) is good and that Nick knows the guy.. but aside from that.. anyone know of any other decent tire shops around the North Metro area? I'm desperately needing new tread and am planning on going tomorrow before Sonics.

Coy's is located on Santa Fe just north of Mississippi, you could hit Performance they are located on Santa Fe and Oxford other than that most all the Discount tire shops seem to be ok

You want to be 100% covered in case anything happens to your meaty, rubbery investment. I'd hit up a local discount tire or Big-O tire. Both stores should offer you good service and will cover you if anything happens. IE. you get a defective tire.

 

Went to Discount Tire around 56th and wads. Pretty good experience over all, and they gave me a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Also free rotates (which is pretty standard but woohoo :p)

Also, being a broke 20 year old, are new tires supposed to feel so floaty?

and my damned (!) Tire pressure light keeps coming on repeatedly, but all the tires seem fine and i've reset it twice

 

hold the button down for a couple seconds and let go. the gauge will blink a few times. then hold down the button again. This will fix it.

 

Sitting stationary and holding it down for 3 seconds, the light just goes off.. never blinks.
