like bad things dont happen to me as is...

woke up to go to work...walked up to my car only to find that my seats stolen, radio fukus'd, shift **** jacked, top ripped...door leather inserts keyed...it rained...interior soaked...

sooOOOooo 2 weeks till i get the car back with a new top, seats, and hopfeully a not smelly interior...

so yea i'm not traveling around anywhere (like i didnt go anywhere as is!) for a while...

 

damn, sorry to hear joanne. i hope it gets fixed soon. at least the xb is almost done, right?

 

HAHAHA...yea...but i wasnt expecting this to happen...oh well.

yea denny i have the same mentallity you have there... karma bad-mammajammas threefold....so i figure whoever did this they will eventually get caught...gonna keep my eyes and ears open and on the look out for the seats being sold locally...


lol it was going to hapen to me eventually i'm surprised i lasted 1 year before it happened...4 days ago was my 1yr anniversary of having the car....i'm a pretty nice person you all know first hand i work hard(long hours) for the things i want and need...ive had ups and downs but i dont really have a hateful bone in my body...whatever the case of who i am or if i am nice or mean its an s2k its one of the top ten stolen and ripped off cars... BUT look at it this way.. i get new seats and a new top...which was aged and i couldnt see out of really so on the bright side which middle of the day i was able to see...everything i was planning to replace b/c it was treated badly by the previous owner i'm getting new now... so i guess i see the silver lining in all of this...ya know? it sux but it could have been worse...the whole car....and that would make me a saaaddd panda...

ive gotten ALOT of support from the s2k boards...some really good people there...very helpful...i guess since we all went through it we all relate to the crisis...and help eachother out best we all can....

ratio is one every week in miami...

Thanks guys...my lifes been up in the air recently and just your support really help when things like this happen.

hey guys.. just to confirm something really quick...
1) my falkens are currently 225/40zr18s,
if id like a lower profile tire id look for a smaller # after the slash... ex:225/35zr18s correct?
2) what would be a good profile? 35? 30? 25?

Ive noticed the lower profile i go, the more expensive it is... sucks

Do you guys have any suggestions as to what tire i should get? i was thinking, if i go with the stock size, id just get two, but i might be into getting all four depending on pirce.

 

Yea Deny thats true...but can i ask why you would want to go a lower profile, esp. on S-techs??? Remember the problem david had with the 35 series??, tires he had. I dont wanna sound like im knockin the idea, just lookin out for ya, ya know??

The lower you go in profile the more expensive it is because of the more "show" look and it those smaller profile sizes are as common....

if you absolutely must have lower profile tires, get 35's. i learned my lesson when i had my low pros on my last car... you will HATE potholes with a passion. lol. they def look awesome tho. how big are your rims? 18x8?

 

Joe - was tossin around the idea of the lower profile. been running around in my steelies and kinda like that its a bit lower. most likely cause of the money, ill just end up getting two of the 40s instead. thanks for the heads up though homie... always glad to hear it

Jay-sun - yeah homie 18x8 another thing id like to do, and probably wont happen for a while, but id like to get a new set of rims. ive got ideas as to where i wanna go with the car, but money will ultimately be the decideing factor as to wheather it happens or not. we'll see

Yes Denny my opinion is dont go lower..... a)the ride is rough b)as stated by Joe "potholes will be a nightmare" you will either get a flat, bend the lip, or crack a rim like i did. There was a huge diff when I got the new tires

 

or all of the above. lol

 

Remember stock rims are 17's a lower profile tire on a 18 inch rim will not get the same results unless u get rubberbands..

But yea my opinion who it would be great 18inch rims with a 40 series, then you have look and peace of mind...

Have you checked edgeracing.com for tire prices...they were great when i went to buy my set, if not lemme know wat u maybe lookin at and hopefully maybe i can find you a better deal.....
