Default having problems with cathodes -- miami area

i have some oznium cold cathodes installed in my footwells which i had done by a local guy, well right now the passenger side is not turning on, i bought new tubes and a tranformer thinking that was the problem, but i tried swapping them out and still dont turn on...i have been trying to get the guy who did my install to check it out, but all i get are excuses that hes too busy..so if anyone does this or can recommend me someone that does i would greatly appreciate it..i will gladly pay them for their time...and please do not recommend ala "fishingexpert87", because he is the one who did my install and am having a problem for him to look at it..thank you

Do you know how they are hooked up?
To your fuse box then to a switch, etc.??

Ok so power is running from the battery to the switch...from the switch to the transformer...?

Did you need to extend the wires off of the cathode in any way?

Ummm I would say to check ur wires make sure there are no loose connections, or make sure the wires are secure in the switch...
Or if you needed to extend the wires so that the cathode can connect to the transformer....try to reverse the wire because the cathode wires are polar sensitive...

never mind..it ended up being that the tubes were cracked, just real hard to tell..man these things are cheap, they cracked just by the vibration of the car, but its all resolved i found a shop that did a complete clean up and install of Varad LED tubes, boy are these bright and much more durable..all for $65

you sure it was vibration? i had mine installed in my xa for over a year and the only time they broke were when they got kicked by a passenger. other than that, i never had a problem.
