i agree with both.of you guys...

also if your gonna have someone judge a jdm class..pls pls pls have people who really know their parts (no offense to you JDMbB83 i know u and me probably share the same heart/knowledge in some respect so that statement doesnt apply to you so im not saying you..but in cases were you or others who are not around at these shows and really can give advice judges should do their homework...good luck on that though)... thats all i ask.. even though a jdm award would be most applicable to an xB...lol

the only sucky thing about judging a "jdm class" is that it is very small.. i know of what 3/4 xb's...1/2 tc's...1 xa that can jump in on that lol.. we would all be competeing against each other lol.. sadly that automotive style is not a heavy hitter in the sofla scion community.

Its not a heavy hitter here. Lambo doors, neons, and what not are. And I respect that all the way. Not knocking it.

All these local shows Ive been going to the judges just look at your car, if its flashy and catches their eye, great. More power to you. You get a hotdog, and a trophy. Im not hating. But what about those who are purpose built, like Tamago and TCPete. Nothing flashy, but all quality.

I believe there should be at least one judge at every show, which does their homework, and not only judges a vehicle, but is willing to educate those willing to learn about JDM. Or who want to go that route.

if u dont mind me asking what "jdm" parts do u have on your car?

We've been through this before. And last time I checked you were no one to ask me whats on my car. All Im doing is giving .02 cents. We are all simply bringing reality to light. I may not have the money to spend on my car like I want to right now to obtain the JDM parts. Or live with a mommy and daddy that help me out. But my knowledge of tunning and styling will surpass you and any of the people you hangout with, minus TCPete, and a few others. So before you start something, I would really think hard about your own position in this lifestyle. Cause I dont do this stuff for fun, its my lifestyle, way of life, art, what ever you wanna call it. I do the research, and I live it. Kinda like surfing. A lifestyle which people researched, lived, and breathed.

And come to think of it. Based on past forum discussions and arguments. People bickering, crying, and my own episodes.

Maybe we are going about this all wrong. Because its really not a matter of JDM. From what I have been noticing is that people want recognition for their money spent on "Quality over Quantity."

TC's are not JDM, but you guys should still get recognition for your "Quality" parts, which its been proved that dealer judges dont know much about. There are not lot of JDM styled Xb's. But some have quality parts. Which dont get recognition either.

BTW the guy at the BBQ, had attitude for a reason. Those were good hamburgers and hotdogs, the food and drinks were free. All he wanted was $1 for what you were going to pay $5 somewhere else.

Pete, thanks for pointing out it is a lifestyle. If I would've noticed this before, I would've spared the reply to his post. But when I here of a kid asking ME, out of all people, what I have on my car, it tends to.... I don't know..... upset me.
