its not official yet.. my friend know the guy who owns the countyline drag place and i was thinking about how cool would be a drag day just for us.... (tc, xb, xa)

so we called the guy he told me email him the infos what we want and hes gonna tell us the price.......


so what i wanted is: a big drag tournament for us in january or feb. (scoreboard and everything .. 3 class: n/a , s/c and turbo)


i would like to rent the whole damn place for us on one of the sundays from X to midnight


X : depends how many of us would show up.. so i need a roll call and i think we need at least 50 scion ( tc xa xb xd)

im not sure if we could get free drink and food.. i would love to feed you guys with papa johns pizza but they have a buffet.. so i think they want us to buy everything there.... but i will talk about this with the owner!



i already talked to Leslie ( to get sponsored by Hollywood scion) so we could get the free food and dj.. but nothing is sure yet.............

i need to know if you guys would like to have a SCION only drag day ...

of course i cant make it a free event........ i dont know yet how much would be 1 admission.. but you know.. to get in there would cost 20-40 bucks anyway.. at least u have to race against your firends only ( scion owners)

i know most of you thinking like: oh i would just go because of the free food... dont think like this.. this could be a badass meeting...... i would love to pay more than 50 dollars to be a part of an event like this...

wow, not a bad a idea, but I dont know if you'll get enough people into each class to make it interesting, maybe just putting everyone together and making it bracket would be better, that way everyone is equal. Dont know if countyline does bracket, but doesnt hurt to ask.

i hope i could get like 50 cars... lets say.. 5 turbo tc.. 5 s/c... 1-2 turbo or s/c xa and xb and the rest is NA tc, sc, xb...


so if we have 50 cars.. and 4-5 hours event.. that means everyone could have like .. 3 runs.. maybe 4...

thats just enough for all the turbos and s/c to run with each other... about the N/A cars.. i dont care.. i would run with any NA car... i just want to see my time... and have fun with you guys... so as i told you guys... TELL THIS INFO TO EVERYONE!!!!!! we need drag racers:D

bracket is a way to race cars of different levels of power together in one tournament without being unfair. Before the tournament everyone gets 2-3 practice runs to see the best time the car can pull, then you give guy in charge(the guy in the little trailer always talking s**t on the microphone) a time you think your car can run (ex: 9.9, 10.15,etc.) then the tournament is started and you have to try to run as close as possible to your bracket time without going below it, if you do your disqualified. The way the races are gonna be setup is as follows, if a car that has a bracket time of 9.5 is gonna run a car that has a time of 10.5, then this car gets a 1sec. head start, get it.

 

cool. to do that we need a full day :D but at least a 6 hours event... we could do it.. but we need everyone... and dont be cheap when i say : oh well we have to pay 25.. not 20.. :D peace all!

 

i dont see this happening. you're going to have a hard time getting 50+ scions to go and race. there's alot of ppl with scions, but not even half of them are into racing, and most of them will not pay 30-50 bucks for this, especially if you're saying 3-4 runs should be enough, considering the fact that when we usually go, we have like 15-20 runs more or less. and i really doubt hollywood scion would sponsor something like this. but i give u props on trying to put this together...who knows, myb it will work. i voted.
