Hey guys, just wanted to make sure if you guys were aware of what's going down at the meet tomorrow (wednesday)? I contacted Rey and Armando so they could keep you guys updated, so I just wanted to make sure that the message was relayed. If you have any questions, please PM me. Do not post it on here.

okay, so.. geeeezzzz..

I have been throwing a lean code for months now, I have been watching the live data and the fuel trim at idle is way off, but levels under any load.. it was asking for 35% trim long term, and the short term trim was maxed out at 19.5%. (these should be no greater than 5% usually). I thought the TB spacer gasket was it, but just now when I installed my intake, i replaced those gaskets. I also pulled the intake manifold to make sure I didn't pinch that gasket when I painted it. It was all fine. I started it up, did the idle learn, checked the live data, and the same crap!!!!!
I have a new MAF sensor on the way, so hopefully I just fragged that thing during my many intake swaps, and I can just replace it, and be done. I also wonder about the TB spacer itself messing up readings? I dunno.. I do know for sure that the spray is not going in running like this...

The MAF should be able to fix that. I dont think its a serious problem from the sound of it.

I hope so... I was racing a charger today (ya.. he smoked me, but not by too much, he was impressed), and my dash lit back up with all the lights.. the sensor should be here soon. If it doesn't work, step 2 is going to be to revert completley back to stock, and check the live data with the addition of each mod, and see whats doing it.. I also wonder if any of my braided hoses are leaking behind the braids.. but i'll wait for the MAF and go from there.. on a side note.. I like the Injen SRI! (especially when its 30 somethin' degrees outside )

Being how your more go than show. I would heat wrap the SRI. The metal on the intake tubing is pretty and all, but the amount of heat it absorbs from these 1NZ engines heating up so quickly will actually decrease the HP. As far as for the braided lines, I dont know. I didnt think it was possible for them to start leaking so quickly. You havent even had em on that long.

well... it isn't the MAF

this all started for me the weekend I removed the intake manifold, and painted it.. installed the TB spacer, installed the braided lines, and that catch can with the breather.. I assumed at first it was the catch can setup, when I removed it, I didnt have a CEL for 2 months, but now its back..
tomarrow I remove the braided lines, and go from there.. the reason I bring these up is, a few of them are a little larger than the "nipple" they attach to, I used the clamps (very tight) to make up for this, but maybe..
if not.. then I will remove the TB spacer.. if not then I order all new intake gaskets.. if not.. I don't know... I will NOT let the dealer touch my engine bay, but maybe I can talk to a tech on the side, and have him view data, and maybe find a O2 sensor or something else causing this..

and I totally agree about the wrap.. I have seen some nice universal types in Jeg's and Summit catalogs.. once the engine is back on track, I will be adding that to the list.. Thanks!!
