I owned my scion tc for about a week before having my first problem. It actually kinda funny. I bought one of those air freshners that you stick in front of the a/c vent and the air blows thru it and carries the oil smell in the car. I had the radio cover up, and the thing on the center console a/c vent. Next day I put the cover down, and saw that oil had gotten on the silver paint. After wiping it away I had seen that the oil ate thru the plastic, and took off the silver paint. I think it also got on the underside of the cover, and cracked the plastic. Dealer says replacement part is 70 bucks, cuz I have to replace the whole cover unit, and then who knows what for new install. Anyone have some good ideas? Or maybe a huge ____ing sticker? Thanks.

just buy the carbon fiber dash kit only 200...but would look a lot better o ya
