Default Add Cruise Control?

Howdy,
I have a unicorn, a 2016 Toyota Yaris iA. It began in Puerto Rico where the brand name switched a year earlier, but I am in one of the big rectangle Midwestern US states. The pollution control/safety rules are the same,
so it's not even a gray market car. The radio and logo on the front of the car is different, and auto parts stores cannot pull up my model in those drop down menus, but otherwise, I'm happy. Except...

Puerto Rican spec iA's did not come with Cruise Control - not a surprise for an island where you can't drive 2 hours in a straight line and not be under water. There are no arctic engine block heaters either.

Has anyone added Cruise Control? in 1991, adding mechanical Cruise Control would be tedious. Now, when a computer controls everything and the throttle is drive-by-wire, I am hoping you just add switches and maybe a computer module?

How big a job is this?

I added Cruise Control to a tC. A mechanical CC would only work if you have an old school throttle cable.

If your Yaris iA is drive-by-wire, there may be a Rostra kit specifically for your car. Would depend whether your ECM is Cruise ready.
