Buggy Bluetooth
I have a 2012 Scion iQ that‘s bluetooth has always been a little buggy, but lately it’s gotten worse.
Initially the only problem was if I had Bluetooth playing and then plugged my phone in, sound would stop but music wouldn’t pause. It would only work again if I started playing music FIRST, then cycled through the options (am, fm, audio, etc) back to Bluetooth. If I did the cycle before playing, there would still be no sound.
Now, in addition to the initial problem, my phone will connect to Bluetooth and play music, but it doesn’t show up on the car as being connected, I can’t see what song is playing or skip songs, snd the volume button on the steering wheel doesn’t work, nor does the volume **** on the stereo itself. The only thing that fixed it was restarting the car.
Is this a known problem? Anyone know how to fix it?
