Default Front camera from Beat-Sonic USA installed today

I finally got around to installing the front camera on my iQ today. I got it from Eric and the guys at Beat-Sonic USA. It is designed to be mounted to the license plate frame but I modified mine to allow me to install it on the lower front grill.

I have a controller module that will allow me to switch between the cameras but I didn't have time to install it. For now I have the front camera connected to my Navi unit through the Aux Video input. It doesn't provide the wide screen that the rear does but that will be fixed once I have the module installed.

I'll post up some pics once I finish everything.

I installed the Beat-Sonic USA CS1 Camera Interface today in the iQ. It allows me to switch between the front and rear cameras. When in reverse the rear camera appears on the headunit, when I depress the small switch it shows the front camera for three seconds.

The installation was easy once I figured out which wire carries the reverse signal to the headunit.

The switch...

Nice, I've been eyeing buying the CS1 for awhile.

On the Beat Sonic website, it states that you could hook up the CS1 to the speed sensor wire to automatically turn on at low speeds. Were you able to hook up that feature?

I did. It works just fine. I ended up disconnecting it though, it turns the camera on every time you come to a stop or slow down, great when pulling into a parking spot but it gets a little annoying when coming to stop lights or slowing down looking for an address.

The head unit only has one input for the camera, Beat-Sonic sells the adapter I used that allows both cameras to work on the head unit. I'm not sure about the inputs on the Bespoke, I have the Navigation head unit.

Can you post the installation instructions for your system. I have installed a rear cam but am struggling with integrating a front with our FujitsuTEN head unit. This could be the answer.

Stop worrying. I finally tracked down a pdf of the instructions on the Japanese Beatsonic site.

Unfortunately it is in Japanese but I reckon I can work it out from the diagram

Please ignore my attempted contact via your U-tube video.

Beatsonic USA ..... you can ignore my request too but perhaps you could consider incorporating the info. on the "Add to cart" page????
