Yes, that must be why Subarus do so well as rally cars...

 

They use the WRX for Rally, not the Legacy. And even then, they don't use stock parts.

 

The WRX is an Impreza, and as of 2008 the Impreza is built on the Legacy platform. There really is little design difference between Subaru's platforms. Subaru loves commonality!

Yes, they use stronger parts on race cars, but the basic design is far from "weak and terrible" I think that Toyota's "development team" has a bad case of "Not Invented Here" syndrome.

i want it with the toyota badge(the new toyota/subie car) as far as that new/replacement tC i want to see what it looks like first. haven't looked around for information.

 

no information on it^.. just the same ol' fuse stuff. thats why im trying to make sure of launch date... if it is being released at la auto show its only a couple weeks away.
