but nevertheless, BMW has rhyme for their reason(keeping the whole sports enthusiast thing alive, one of the few manufacturers left that make cars that let you feel the road, stuff like that) and Toyota also(even if this is overdramatic and mid-life crisis like)
Hey lexus, how about an SMG type option? no?
yeah lexus..are you listening? SMG/DSG style system ftw!!
eh, I haven't seen it....and ofcourse you dont, I don't think anyone on here does...

the CSL would be awesome.......
what are the numbers for the new m5, i sort of know but im too lazy to go look. All i know is the new M5 is supposed to be really quick.
507 hp
0-60 BMW Rated at 4.5 (C&D says 4.2)
mid 12 quarter mile time
weighs 4012 lbs
The real beast of the BMW lineup is the M6. Has the same engine, but it's lighter with a lower center of gravity. It's slightly faster to 60, and slightly faster through the quarter, and both of these cars handle awesomely (is that a word?).

the 6 is only slightly heavier than the 5 to begin with. The M6 is only about 100 lbs lighter, which is a lot, but I'd guess that a lot of it has to do with replacing the normally all glass tilt-function only roof of the 6-series with a fixed carbon fiber roof.
I have a feeling Lexus will be going with a hybrid version.
IS450h, which would be slightly tweaked most likely. Still would be a 3.5 Liter V6 but with alot more horsepower.
Would not add as much weight as a V8.
Let's see the 350 has around 306 hp, could be around 390 - 400 hp. Time will only tell. The 0 - 60 could be about 4.3 - 4.4 seconds (rough calculation). Almost in the 2008 BMW M3 range.
The hood might be in carbon fiber, but thats only speculation, for the reason to keep the front of the car covered.
