Wi-Fi, am I missing somthing? How is it possible to have wi-fi in the car if there isn't a modem connected to a phone line or a cable line? Sounds fishy. And wouldn't that meen there would have to be an in-dash screen?? That does not sound affordable to me and I doubt scion would ever release that...sounds more like Lexus.

I'd have to see this... for a four banger, that's crazy hp/liter, displacement seems a bit low for a 6 cylinder.

 

I just dont really see them making it the new tc here in the US, it is to similar to the one already out...i expect something a little less ordinary..and if we are lucky RWD or AWD..but i really doubt that will happen...

 

That pic (or versions of it) have been around since before the tC came out. I also highly doubt Toyota would make a NA 2.4 with 240+ HP

 

I don't think it will be it cause I remember reading that all the new Scion models would be USDM only like the tC and the xB replacment.

 

I just bought my 2006 tC two months ago.. but if this new concept [actually comes into production] has 200+ HP, awesome tC/Celica looks I'll be trading in the tC.

 

My scion rep said he could only get the press release you posted here. He promised me he would get me info to "leak" as soon as he could.

 

From what I understand, the JDM celica would have a 2.0 250ps mill while the tC replacement/upgrade gets a 2.4 version with similar output.... probably both would be on the same platform, just different body panels
