I have a feeling that the next Coupe scion comes out with will be rear wheel driver. Around 180 HP. or even if they have a 2nd coupe one being Front wheel driver basically the tc replacment and another one called the tD D for Drift ..

WHEN not IF they replace the tC your will not be any more valuable then what it is today. Your tC is nothing more then a cookie cutter toss out, should you find it damaged in an accident.

Its not a Shebly ....

Yeah, good to compare a Shelby King of the Road to a tC.
There's like only three of those left.

As long as the tC replacement has more leg room and head room, I'll be excited about the release. The tC isn't overly comfortable for someone that's 6'5".

I heard from a reliable source that in the very near future Scion will be unveiling a truck/suv type concept to be the 4th car in the scion lineup

They've been saying from the beginning they're not going to expand past 3 vehicles, so maybe it's a pick-up model of the xB2?

Not a smart move, the cars are already crappy enough...adding more models means less care will go into each one...I'd say for 2010, go with a RWD 3.5L v6 tC (toned-down Fuse Concept) priced in the low 20's, xB2/xB2 mini-truck (since so many of you xB owners want one so badly) priced the same as it is now, and get the damn cheap model right. It's waaaay too soon to remodel the xD...but they've missed with the xA and now the xD.

The xA was a failure, no sense in bringing it back...

I honestly don't think they need the xA back, Scion will just end up being another SEAT. They've already offered 4 hatchback styled vehicles in 4 years. Yes, it's one of the most popular vehicle types, but if they just keep launching hatch after hatch, they will just end up being like SEAT. They need some sort of variety in the lineup.

2010 tC - Fuse (sports car)
2010 xB2 (wagon)
2010 xT (xB2 with the back cut off, mini-truck)
2010 xE (hot-hatch)

I'd love to see the Fuse get launched, I'd buy one if it was launched early enough. My inspection tags expire 02/09 and I don't plan on passing after I turbo and the car will be paid off by then. If the next tC is appealing enough, I'd possibly buy it (if it launched by latest July 09), if not then I guess I'm S.O.L. .

OK, my $0.02.....

fuse to me is already out there in the form of the new xB except it's the "sedan" version. If they turn the xB into a coupe (aka the "FUSE" imo) that would be nice, but not as a "next Gen/replacement tC". SERIOUSLY!

I recommend to Scion Corp building a $30K & under PWNER.
Designed with aerodynamics & style like a JET (which I've been saying for about 3+ years.. ) built with an AWD/RWD platform that corners like butter & a powerplant that is upgrade'/mod'ible.

Perhaps even with a "TRD" version as well.
