Scion Hako Peek and Rumor thread
In one week everyone will see. gjpjr84, myself and a few others in the DFW area spent time with the actual Scion corporate person that will be making the presentation in NY of the Hako. We can't say much, and we can't even confirm we know much except good things may be coming.

RWD, AWD, turbo, rear engine, V6 + RWD/AWD, rear mount V6, suicide doors, an actual sports car, under 2900 lbs, over 3700 lbs (I don't want that, i'm just saying I can't see scion turning their lightest fastest car into a tank).
Anything else that can be done under 20k I'll expect. No reply will give me the hint that I'm going in the right direction
i would like to think what i saw was RWD.....
otherwise you are WAY off base, just cause its supposed to replace the tC does not make this a "coupe". if it does scion wont have a "coupe" in the lineup unless theres a fourth model added.

I don't know that you can say the Hako is a done deal, and then it may be a year or two down the road, but it is a car that could be doable very quickly. Scion is waiting on public response and of course the Scion community weighs in heavy with their opinions.
