It's the best selling Scion. It's not going anywhere, just hope they don't do a terrible job with the remodel like they did with the xB2. I like it, but it's too SUV-like to be an xB.

 

you know it's funny, everyone says Truck or Fuse, but I would honestly trade my box if toyota made a hard top convertible for scion, and had it for under 20 (22 to be more realistic) that would be nice. But a truck... cmon the only chance they had to release that was when they retired the xB1. But a convertible, would be different, if they could get the price right, the cheapest hard top, and there would be people who would buy it.

200hp is weak, mabey they will bring back a beams 3sge for it haha give her 240 n/a whp or more... riiiiiiight... I can dream! Or bring back the BT 20V in a 1.8L version with QTB's

As I recall the JDM 3SGE "BEAMS" engine made 210hp... The 3SGTE had 240hp or 246 something like that in the MR2 Turbo and other cars that offered that motor.

 

They never made quite that much stock, and were rated at 210 in the gen 4. It was VERY easy to kick them up into the 240+ range n/a. Very fun motor.

 

ok I thought thats what you were refering to. Yeah I was bummed that they didnt import that motor here to the US. Hell thats the decades old complaint for that matter with most of the good motors never seeing US roads.
