Uhhh... I dont think the 09 matrix was supposed to be even close to the ccX, There are alot of cars out there that look more like the o9 matrix then the ccX.

the 09 matrix is no way the ccX, the tC was.

and the Fuse concept was released just as the tC was coming out so of course they couldnt release it. but now that the tC is at the end of its cycle...

when we were getting a peek on the Hako we also may have talked about another concept

OK, so everyone talked a lot of $h!t about the Hako design and how ugly it is... but how many of you have ever tried to design a car? Besides, don't forget some of the butt ugly cars that actually made it into production, like the Gremlin or the Aztec! I often hear people say how ugly the xB is and then they apologize when they find out I have one. My response is that I like it and that's all that matters.

Basically it's cool-just a few tweaks here and there

I want. I want I want. Who do I speak to. They should seriously do maybe a run of 1000-3000 of these puppies and see what happens from there.

After seeing pictures of the Hako several times, I have gotten used to it. And I really like the design. Just as the xB was--and continues to be--polarizing, the Hako is also at first glance. In addition, the Hako is a concept car--if it goes to production, it would be toned down.

Has anyone thought about the fact that scion calls it the Hako COUPE concept? Does this foreshadow another version of the Hako? Just wondering....

i doubt that they would make different versions of the Hako, i think coup was there just to be part of the evasiveness, none of the other concepts were named like Hako is.

I think they should stop calling new vehicles after older models...people are so bent out of shape over the xB2, that they're mad at Scion. Don't introduce the next coupe as the tC2, it'll only get people upset.

Scion just needs to produce a single cycle of design and call it quits for that model, move on to the next idea. By keeping the quanties limited and known, they essentially create a market of collectors.

The Hako only needs some minor tweaks and it's good to go into production as a hot commodity. I'll bet if they released that baby with a raked windshield, it would sell like hotcakes.

Or leave it the way it is and still sell like hotcaks. Camera and corolla etc have not changed names even though they have changed in body etc.

I saw it in person, and I've got to say, I expected to like it better...but I didn't. The windshield and the back view are just horrible...

I like it, yep, it needs a couple tweeks, but I like the whole t-bucket, gangsta. rat rod style. If price were no object, I would buy it.

Why would it need tweeks?
