You guys loved the RS1 right? Well Scion isnt going to just do the same release kit and offer a great price for it, and change the color.

Why are you guys complaining about Scion adding nice equipment at a cheap price? If you want a body kit, go buy a @#$%ing body kit.
If you want rims, go get your own rims, not the same rims 2500 other people have on their RS2.

The next round of RSXD will serve up something different, at a great price, and you can keep adding the different stuff that you think is "missing" from the perfect car. I don't get it with you RS Haters

 

I don't mind the color. I kind of like it actually. Not a fan of the other add ons it comes with. Kind of lame, but overall, i still kind of like it

 

umm well not like gen XB's resale are so great either at present...and I don't believe the new XB or XD will have great resale as they are selling so hot...btw the dealer local to me just sold its last XB rs 6.0 finally and if that isn't telling what is....they used to sell pre-delivery..BTW CUbe pre-dates bB..and the Soul it remains to be seen...there was a time when Toyota was considered crap here

 

The did the same release's as the XB 2g's...but keep in mind they offer cars that are dinosaur's technologically compared to competitor's. What Scion had going for it was value....sadly those days are gone...I am disappointed because I was looking at the XD,XB to replace my XB but it doesn't seem fathomable now...Scion spent a lot of money building the brand and then let the products fail....especially the RS's lately
and yeah I can buy rims and a body kit...but I should get a better price point for that versus other cars.......

 

^ The economy sucks, no one is buying cars and the xB RS6 was a huge let down compared to the xB RS5.

 

I think the problem with this RS is people don't feel the need to pony up the extra $1,200 for green paint, a Pioneer stereo, and light-up door sills. Just my observation—right or wrong.

Wow.. if anything, this will make people want to buy the RS1 more than the RS2.

Scion is just out of touch now, especially with the colors.

 

wait a min....is it going to have color tuned fabric aswell?? Thats worth alot to me in an RS...just my $.02

 

but the xD has much better performance potential than any of the other cars mentiond. pay a little more and you can pay less to upgrade it later. don't forget the $25 shortram intake. it's worth every penny. The Cube is not really a fial unless you don;t know anthing about the design in the past years. it's just ugly now cuz it has to have american crash standards. the Soul is what it is and the xD looks like a hatchback Camry with that color. a little accenting and it will look nice. Red is still the best. wish I coulda found that instead of dark grey

latest RS xB and tC are just sittin around in Chicago. no one is droppin cash for this stuff in Chicago that I know of. I have yet to see a red xB2 drivin around and finally saw the TRD tC last weekend.

 

looks like an old lady color, but im sure it could be made to look nice.

i'd take the fiat 500 over the soul or cube.

I for one am glad I got the RS1 xD...I do agree however that maybe you have to see the RS2 in person when it comes out, maybe the picture shows it being too light...If it is in fact that light in reality then I think it is a fail in my opinion...

 

it looks a little too faded for me, but like others have said, it might be better in person.

 

the RS pack is to Basic, the soul offers light up speekers + 500 - 700 dollers you get the same head unit in any other car + the colour is on almost every other small HB

 

+ The Pioneer head unit is pretty sweet coming from factory.

- The green in production looks.... bland, like it faded in the sunlight. I just think the electric wasabi green should be more vibrant and out there in order to make it more like a release series car.

- Silver accented seats? They couldn't color match it? Come on now...

 

It will be here in 18 months or so.

 

Nothing has great resale right now as dealers and people are offloading everything they have because the market and econ are so poor. I know all about how they are selling as I work for a dealer(not a car salesman). They will still have better resale then a Kia because they are Toyotas.

Kia's will never have a good resale value. Look at Hyundai. They've got a GREAT lineup and the resale value of thier line has never been that great. Kia's got lower quality and it will be a long time before they come close to huyndai's customer service and quality of product. The resale will be rock bottom.

Please don't assume I don't know that the Cube was out before the bB. I was saying that long before the xB ever made it to our shores, but that was in Japan and has ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with this conversation. I don't even know why you would bring that up..............? It also has nothing to do with the fact that the Current US market cube looks like a car from a DR Seuss book. Cube=square, not round.

Toyota was considered crap here in the late 1950's and early 60's with the Toyopet crown because it was underpowered and couldn't maintain hwy speeds without overheating because Japan didn't properly understand the United states hwy system and it's extremely long distances. Thing's were a lot different then. The world was not anywhere near being as global of an economy as it is now.
