I did some searching but i couldnt really find what i was looking for in a straight answer.

I have a 2007 tc, and i would like to get some 08 headlights and custom paint them. Here in lies the problem:

I have HID's from oznium in my headlights, and the bulb size is 9006, and the 2008 headlights are H1 bulbs i believe, correct? I obviously wouldnt be able to use the same HID's, so I would probably just use those ones for my foglights.

are the connections to the 07 oem harnesses the same as the 2008s?

the reason I am asking this is because he has an 08 and wants the 07 headlights, and i have an 07 and want the 08 painted headlights, and we are trying to figure out the bulb situation.

What bulbs are involved in each headlight, would be my question....

The 08' low beams are h11

 

9006 for the 07 LB and h11 for the 08 LB. if you both get HIDs then just get the kit with a 9006 harness and H11 bulb and vice versa for your buddy

 

you're gonna need to get new connections...

i would just cut off each other's plugs, switch, and re-wire them in

 

since you already have an HID kit, all you do is buy the H11 bulbs and swap those w/ the 9006's and your done, if you do this you wont need new connections or to splice anything.

Just install the 08's headlights, swap the 9006 to H11 and put them in the 08 housing and your done.
