I was just wondering. If I wanted to upgrade my headlights to projectors to the 08-09 version, what would I have to do to make it work? I know the bulbs are different, which is why I'm asking this question. Would I have to solder the wire? or is there a converter to convert from 9006 to H11?

Well as I understand it from what that guy said, the "size" bulb really just determines how it fits into the housing. So you'd just need to get that "size" bulb and they should hook up.

That's how I understand it. But I would suggest PMing that _NeXus_ guy to be sure that's what he did. Then you'll know for sure.

^ if you get a hid kit.. you just need new h11 hid bulbs..

if you dont have a hid kit yet, you'll need the entire h11 hid kit that will be compatible with your new headlights.

I just did the swap too but had 9006 hids already in my car. So with the new ones i just bought h11 bulbs! It's a very simple and straight forward swap.

im still confused..... im doing the same thing so i have to get a hid 9006 kit but instead of 9006 bulbs i get h11 bulbs?
